The Minority Business Awards present LAUNCH, a program allowing local entrepreneurs to pitch their business or product for a $5,000 grant to support brand development and $5,000 advertising. LAUNCH entries begin Saturday, March 1, 2025, and end at 11:59 pm on Sunday, March 23, 2025.
Interested participants must register and, if selected as finalists, will be contacted to schedule their pitch with a panel of judges. All entries must comply with contest rules.
LAUNCH will be showcased across SummitMedia’s WBHK, WBHJ, WAGG, and the Minority Business Awards platforms through on-air and digital online campaigns. Each finalist’s journey—including their backstory and pitch—will be featured to engage and inspire the community.
The grand prize winner will receive the Business Start-Up Award at the Minority Business Awards dinner.
